James B. Taylor Executive Correspondence
James Barnett Taylor (1804-1871) served as FMB Corresponding Secretary from 1846 until his death in December 1871. This collection consists of letters Taylor wrote to missionaries, Southern Baptist constituents, and others, as they were copied in FMB letter books, as well as letters from the Holmes and Moon collections that were written to Taylor. Currently the collection contains the contents of the first letter book, which runs from January 1846 to March 1848.
