James B. Taylor Executive Correspondence
James Barnett Taylor (1804-1871) served as Corresponding Secretary of the Foreign Mission Board (now IMB) from 1846 until his death in December 1871. This collection consists of letters Taylor wrote to missionaries, Southern Baptist constituents, and others, as copied in FMB letter books, as well as letters written to Taylor. Currently the collection contains the contents of the first letter book, which runs from January 1846 to March 1848.
