FMB Annual Reports
From its inception until the present, the IMB (formerly called the Foreign Mission Board or FMB) has presented annual reports to the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), typically in May of each year. These reports were published alongside the annual proceedings of the SBC, sometimes as appendices, beginning with the first report in 1846.
This collection contains the published versions of these reports, which vary in length from a few to several hundred pages. The lengthier reports include extensive updates from each mission (e.g., North China, Equatorial Brazil) and are an extremely valuable source of information on the IMB's work around the world. Currently, the FMB Annual Reports collection ranges from 1861 to 1900 and will be expanded in the future.
