The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session at 4:00 P.M.
on Thursday, September 9, 1943 with President Jenkins in the chair.

Loving, R. Aubrey Williams, C.'S. Priclcett, S. B. Cousins, Hill Montague,
T. F. Adams, E. C. Routh, E.P. Buxton, Miss “-arjorio Moore, 0. W. Sadler,
Everett Gill, Jr., M. T. Rankin.
Visitors: B. L. Nichols, G. W. Strother, and C.G. McDaniel of China
and Mrs. E.. C. Routh.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. McDaniel.
The minutes of the July meeting were approved as read.
Mr. Jenkins reported that Dr. Maddry is resting at Ridgecrest.
Dr. Sadler and Dr. Gill gave brief reports of the general work of their
fields.
Or. Rankin reported that 38 of our missionaries in occupied territory in
the Orient were listed for repatriation. He also reported that twelve
missionaries had completed preparations and were ready to

to Free China.
He presented Dr. 8. L. Nichols and Dr. 0. W, Strother who were on their
way to New York to await transportation to India and then China.
On motion of Dr. Cousins it was voted to receive and file the report
of the treasurer:
