The Board met in regular session at 4:00 P. M. in the Board Rooms
President Jenkins presiding.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother Williams.
The following were present: Brethren Gwathmey, Loving, Coleman,
Cousins, Williams, Slaughter, Jenkins, Harris, Miss Foster, Mrs. Wicker
and Mrs. Atkinson; also Miss Ford, Assistant Executive Secretary, R. S.
Jones, Field Secretary, and Claud B. Bowen, Educational Secretary.
Miss Ford read an interesting letter from Dr. Maddry in which he
gave encouraging reports of our work in Argentina and told of the many
conversions that had been made in the meetings held during his stay in
that country.
On motion Miss Ford was instructed to thank the unknown donor of
the 100 copies of "I Discover the Orient" by Brockman, through Dr. J. H.
Franklin, the intermediary in the gift.
On motion the communication from C. W. Branch with regard to the
transfer of the stock of Campo Redondo was referred to Brother Montague
with power to act.
The treasurer’s report was read by Miss Ford in the absence of
the treasurer and was approved as follows
