REPORT OF SECRETARY OF MISSIONARY PERSONNEL
On college campuses all across the country students have been talking about
"Reconstruction." It is an intriguing word to young Americans. Through corres¬
pondence and personally they have been asking what Southern Baptists propose to
do to rehabilitate war-torn nations to provide relief for millions of homeless.
China and Continental Europe especially challenged them to prepare for a great
task of reconstruction.
Some of them have already been surprised to discover that if they achieve
their desire to help reconstruct the world, they will have to do so under church
auspices. May all of them discover that missions is reconstruction. The essential
