REPORT OF EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
At this meeting of the Foreign Mission Board we welcome the largest
number of new members that we have ever had. It is, therefore, in order for
me to present a brief review of the work of our Board.
Through the Foreign Mission Board, Southern Baptists are assisting Bap¬
tist churches in twenty-five separate nations or national areas around the
world in the promotion of programs of Christian missions.
In Latin America we are assisting in such programs in Mexico, Guatemala,
Hondurus, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.
As yet, we do not have missionaries located in Guatemala, Hondurus, or Vens-
zuela. It is probable that within another year we shall have at least one
missionary couple in Guatemala. We are providing assistance to Baptist
churches in all three of these countries at the present time.
