The Foreign Mission Board met in semi-annual session on October 13 - 14,
1942 in the Board Rooms -with President Jenkins in the chair during the entire
meeting.

xhe Board met in informal session at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 13.
Dr, J. W. Storer led the devotional.
The Board heard reports from the Executive Secretary, Charles E. Maddry,
Secretary for Africa, Europe and Hear East, George W. S0dler, Secretary for
the Orient,

T. Rankin and Secretary for Latin America, Everett Gill, Jr.,
who has recently returned from a six months’ visit to our missions in South
America.
The President announced that the regional committees would meet at
9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 14 and the Board would meet in full session
at 11:00 A.M.
Dr. Adams invited Board members and visitors to be the guests of himself
and Mrs. Adams and the First Baptist Church at a luncheon on Wednesday in
honor of the tenth anniversary of the election of Mr. Jenkins and Dr. Maddry.
The meeting adjourned with prayer by Dr. Lewis.

The Board met in regular session at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday morning,
October 14, 1942 with President Jenkins in the chair.
Dr. Briggs led in a brief devotional.
