The Full Board met in its regular Semi-Annual
session at 8 P.M.
The meeting was opened with prayer by several
brethren: J. F. Vines, J. L. White, J. H. Anderson, and

M. Gwathmey.
The following were present:

The resignation of Bro. Joshua Levering was read
by the President and was regretfully accepted and the
following committee were appointed a committee to convey to
Bro. Levering the sentiment of this Board: L. Howard
Jenkins, S. B. Cousins* Basil M. Gwathmey.
The following AGENDA was adopted:
1. Devotional.
2. General Survey, by Executive Secretary.
3. Organization.
4. Survey of Conditions in the Various States, by
State Representatives.
5. The Promotion Committee Program, by Bro.J.H.
Anderson.
6. Budge-t and Related Matters.
7. Business Touching Various Mission Fields.
8. Discussion of Plans for Coming Year.
The election of officers being in order the Board
went into Executive Session.
The following were elected: President, R. E. Gaines,
Vice-President, J. H. Anderson, Recording Secretary, W.A.
Harris, Auditor, B« Mi Gwathmey, Attorney, Hill Montague.
On motion, Dr. T. B. Ray was nominated as Foreign
Secretary and after much discussion he was elected Foreign
Secretary.
Brother E. P. Buxton was elected Treasurer.
On motion, a committee of five were appointed to
nominate an Executive Secretary. Committee as follows:
Brethren Fugate , Purser, Shelburne, Mrs. Thomas, Coleman.
On motion, the Board adjourned to 9.30 tomorrow.

The Board reassembled at 9,30 A.M.
The devotional exercises were conducted by Brother
S. J. Porter.
The special committee to nominate an Executive
Secretary repo rted , bringing in the name of Rev. Louie D.
Newton of Atlanta, Ga.
Brother Newton was unanimously elected by a rising
vote.
