Foreign Mission Board Rooms,
October 11, 1939.
The Foreign Mission Board met in annual session in the Board Rooms at
9:30 A. M. on October 11th with President Jenkins presiding.
The meeting opened with a devotional led by Dr. M. T. Rankin of China.

A telegram of greeting from Dr. Maddry was read to the Board. It was
voted to send a reply to this telegram, notifying Dr. Maddry of his re-
election and expressing the confidence of the members of the Board in him
and the best wishes for his speedy recovery.
On motion it was voted that the Board go into executive session.
Brother YYillingham moved that a committee be appointed to report on the
terminology for the representatives in the foreign countries. The
following were asked to serve on this committee:
