The November monthly meeting of the Board having failed on the regular Evening, on account of the absence from the City of the Cor. Secretaries, the Board met on Thursday 9th., at 4. oClock. P. M.

In the absence of the President, bro. Ryland was called to the chair. Prayer by Bro. Keesee. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer presented his monthly report as follows.

A communication was received from bro. S. A. Creath Agent in Alabama, requesting an increase of his salary. Also a letter from bro. Poindexter (now in Ala) recommending such increase; on motion, it was agreed to allow him $1,000 per annum, from the commencement of the 2d year of his agency.
A letter was read from Geo. W. Parker, appointed at the last meeting a Missy. to Liberia, informing of a favorable opportunity which has presented itself for his going to school, and expressing his desire to avail himself of it. On motion, the Board assented to his remaining twelve months in this Country for this purpose.
A letter was read for J. J. Fitzgerald (a colored man) of Illinois, with reference to his appointment as a missionary to Liberia - also a letter from bro. Wm. Crane of Balt., on the same subject - and the President of the Board, entertaining a highly favorable opinion of him, derived from personal acquaintance. On motion, bro.
