Foreign Mission Board Rooms
May 8, 1941
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session on Thurs¬
day, May 8, 1941.
Th.ere were present Brethren Jenkins, Prickett, Coleman, Adams,
Bryant, Gaines, Montague, Maddry, Sadler, Buxton, McMillan, Miss Foster,
and Mrs. Atkinson; also

P. Anderson of Fulton Street Baptist Church.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother Coleman.
On motion of Brother C-aines it was voted not to read the minutes
of the April meeting of the Board as they had been sent out to each
Board member.
Dr. Maddry reported that several candidates would be brought to
Richmond for examination May 19-22, looking toward appointment at
some later date.
Dr. Maddry also reported that he and Mrs. Maddry would sail on
June 6 for a visit to the Hawaiian Mission.
On motion of 3rother Bryant it was voted to receive and file the
following report of the treasurer:
