The Foreign Mission Board held its regular monthly meeting at 3:00 p.m., May 13, 1975,
in the Baker James Cauthen Chapel, Foreign Mission Board headquarters, Richmond, Vir¬
ginia. The Vice-President, J. Roy Clifford, presided.

The Vice-President called the meeting to order.
The audience joined in singing: "To God Be the Glory," led by Sidney C. Reber.
Board Minutes for the meeting, April 7-9, 1975, were approved.
Lonnie Shull, Board member from South Carolina, read a passage of Scripture and led
in the opening prayer.
Visitors were recognized and extended a warm welcome. Two special guests were intro¬
duced by Eldred Taylor, Board member from Kentucky: Mr. Jerry Stone and Mr. Ben Wesley,
deacons in Mr. Taylor's church.
The Vice-President recognized the Executive Secretary, Baker J. Cauthen.
Dr. Cauthen asked Austin Farley, local Board member, and Eldred Taylor, Board member
from Kentucky, to come to the platform.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the Board members, in the light of
their retiring from Board membership during the meeting of the Southern Baptist Con¬
vention in June, 1975, as follows:
