taken to i element such plans for enlargement.
Third, that this enlargement cannot be undertaken by any kind of tem¬
porary or soecia’ campaign. It must be based on ions range dans that
will provide permanent support through future years.
Fourth, that such a program will necessitate the strengthening and
enlargement of our entire denominational undertaking, begin 1 ng vlth
the programs of local churches and extending through state and south¬
wide arencies.
Fifth, that since such er.larrenent of the Foreign Mission Board’s pro¬
gram cannot he undertaken under the present financial arrangement of-
the Convention, a special meeting of the Executive Committee should be
called in the near future to study arrangements whereby the proposed
program oar. be accomplished.
