their proposition. It is as follows:
nThat we agree to comply with the proposed di¬
vision of overplus funds from the 1933 Lottie Moon Offer¬
ing of the Woman’s Missionary Union, as follows:
1. ^Salaries (for the months in 1934 in which
the Foreign Mission Board would be obligated
|. for the salaries) and the outgoing expenses of
8 new missionaries to be sent out as soon as practical
after 1934 S.B. C. meeting; couple to Japan; couple for
college and seminary in Nigeria; medical missionary and
wife to Hwanghsien, China; single woman to Africa; single
woman to China.
2. Debt on Colegio Baptists Brasileiro, Sao
Paulo, Brazil, $3,500.00
3. $3,000 to purchase land needed by Colegio
Bautista, Temuco, Chile.
4. Amount to be turned over to the Foreign Mis¬
sion Board to bring home on furlough in 1934 certain mis¬
sionaries whom Woman's Missionary Union, after consultation
with the Foreign Mission Board, is convinced should have
furlough in 1934. In so doing, it is to be understood
that the Union takes no responsibility as to salaries
of these missionaries.
5. Amount to be turned over to the Foreign
Mission Board for its 1934 appropriation to the salaries of
missionaries not included in the Lottie Moon Christmas Of¬
fering list or otherwise cared for by designated gifts. In
so doing, it is to be understood that the Union neither
assumes nor in any sense promises any further appropria¬
tion for such missionaries.
6. Amount to be turned over to the Foreign
Mission Board for its 1934 appropriation for native work,
thus releasing the pressure on the Board by that amount,
which may in turn be applied on its debt."
On motion of Brother Williams the above action
was taken.

That the Board invite Rev. and Mrs. Hermon
Ray and Dr. Leonard Long and Miss Florence Major, to be
