TREASURER'S
REPORT
The Board met in regular session at 4 P. M. in the Board
Rooms with President Jenkins presiding.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. R. E. Gaines.
Brother R. S. Jones was asked to act as secretary in the
absence of Dr. Harris.
The following were present» Brethren Jenkins, Slaughter,
Cousins, Montague, Gaines, Loving, Gwathmey, Mrs. Thomas,
Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Atkinson; also Miss Ford, Assistant to
the Executive Secretary, Mr. Buxton, Treasurer, and Dr.
R. S. Jones, Field Representative.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Miss Ford read letters from Dr. Charles E. Maddry, Exec-
tive Secretary and from the Rumanian Baptist Union. She
Iso reported the deaths of the two children of Dr. Mans¬
field Bailey, medical missionary of Kweilin, South China; of
issionary Robert M. Logan, of Buenos Aires, Argentina; of
issionary L. M. Reno, of Victoria, Brazil; and of Mission¬
ary J. R. Mashburn, of Hwanghsien, North China.
