The Treasurer presented his monthly report as follows.-

of which, $13,000 are in the Savings Institutions.
Draft No. 40, drawn by A. D. Philips Tr. Yor. Mission for two hundred and fifty Dollars in favor of T. A. Reid, the same being informally endorsed by "J. M. Harden for T. A. Reid" was brought to the attention of the Board; and on motion, the Treasurer was authorised to pay the same notwithstanding the said informality. Present bro. H. K. Ellyson.
Leave of absence granted to bro. E. Wortham.
A letter was read from bro. W. H. Clarke, when on motion, the following was adopted.
"Whereas upon a statement of the account of bro. Wm. H. Clarke with the Board, it appears that he is indebted to the amount of $153.86, and whereas this amount was lost by him without fault on his part so far as the Board can judge; Therefore, Resd. that the Board relinquish the claim.

The Cor. Sectries reported letters from brethren of the Canton & Shanghai, and the Liberia Missions.
A Letter from bro. T. A. Reid informed of his decision "to resign his position as Missionary of the Rehoboth Association, and to remain one of the Board."
Letters were read from brn. Rohrer, J. W. D. Creath of Texas, Mallory & Irwin of Ga. Shackleford of Ala & Dubin of Mo.
The Committee on China Missions presented the following report, which after the reading of several letters, was adopted.
