TREAS USER'S
REPORT
Board Rooms, March 11, 1937.
The Board met in regular session at 4:00 P. M. On account of the
absence of Brother Jenkins because of sickness. Dr.
С.
C. Coleman was
asked to preside.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother W. Dewey Moore,
newly appointed missionary to Italy.
The following members were present: Miss Foster, Mrs. Wicker,
Mrs. Atkinson, Brethren C-wathmey, Matthews, Bryant, Slaughter, Coleman,
Harris and Williams; also, Executive Secretary Maddry, Assistant Execu¬
tive Secretary, Miss Ford, Treasurer Buxton, Educational Secretary Bowen
and Brother W. Dewey Moore.
Dr. Maddry recommended that Rev. R. F. Elder be elected treasurer
in Argentina in place of Brother S. M, Sowell who is on furlough. This
recommendation was approved.
On motion fifteen dollars was granted to Brother Sowell for help
in paying for medical attention to his wife.
On motion it was voted to pay the passage of Kathleen Bagby back
to Brazil.
On motion the question of joining the Associated Boards for
Christian Colleges in China was referred to the Committee on the Far
East for study and report.
The treasurer reported as follows:
