secretary's ing resolutions.whichwere adopted —
Report — WHEREAS, it is highly desirable that
the officers of this Board, from time to time, be
able to borrow sums of money on its behalf:
NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED,
1. That Wm. H. Smith, Corresponding
Secretary of this Board, and R. R. Gwathmey, Treas¬
urer, are hereby authorized to borroy/, from time to
time, on behalf of this Board, from the National
City Ban! of New YorK, such sums of money, for such
times and upon such terms, as may to them seem ad¬
visable, and to execute notes or agreements accord¬
ingly, in the name of the Board for the payment of
any sums so borrowed: hereby ratifying all previous
loans obtained from the said National City Banlc
of New Yorlc by the said officers of this Board.
2. That the foregoing powers shall
continue until express notice of their revocation
has been duly given in writing to the said National
City Banlc of New Yorlc.
