Board Rooms, Tuesday, June 14,1927.
The Annual June Meeting of the Board was
called at 8 P.M. hy the President.
The meeting was opened with devotional exer¬
cises conducted hy Brother Finley F. Gibson of Ky.
The following were present:

Florida; H.M.Fugate, Georgia; I.E.Lee, Illinois; F.F.
Gibson, Kentucky; O.P.Estis, Louisiana; Joshua Levering,
Maryland; R.Q.Leavell, Mississippi;

Missouri; J. Marcus Kester, North Carolina; C.B. Bobo, South
Carolina; J.H.Anderson, Tennessee; J.M. Shelburne, Vir¬
ginia; C.R.Barrick, Hew Mexico. T.D. Brown, Arkansas, and
H.E. Stevenson,’ District of Columbia, arrived later in
the meeting.
Local Members: B.M. Gwathmey, Aubrey Williams,
Hill Montague, L. Howard Jenkins, R.E. Gaines, W. A. Harris,
Miss Alta Foster, W.G.Mahone, W.W. Weeks, Geo. T. Waite,
J.W.Storer, S.B.Woodfin, S.B. Cousins, W.Thorbum Clark.
The Board went into executive session for the
election of officers.
The following were elected: President , R.E.
Gaines; Vice-President, Joshua Levering; Recording
Secretary, W. A. Harris; Auditor, B.M. Gwathmey; Attorney,
Hill Montague; Corresponding Secretary, J.F.Love; Asso¬
ciate Secretary, T.B.Ray; Treasurer, E.P. Buxton.
On motion, . it was voted that in accordance with
the instructions of the Southern Baptist Convention
the chair appoint an , Administrative Committee of seven —
four local members and three. State Members.
The following were appointed: L. Howard Jen¬
kins, W.Thorbum Clark, Geo..3f.Yfaite, S.B. Cousins,
H.M.Fugate, Georgia, Joshua Levering, Maryland, W. Harri¬
son Williams, Missouri.
The Board resumed its open session.
