Foreign Mission Board Rooms
July 9, 1942
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session on Thurs¬
day, July 9, 1942 with President Jenkins in the chair.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother Prickett.
There were present L. Howard Jenkins, Hill Montague, T. F. Adams,
J. G. Loving, R. Aubrey Williams, Mrs. T. Justin Moore, Wade H. Bryant,
Charles E. Maddry, E. P. Buxton, John W. Lowe,

C. Coleman, and Rev.
H. E. Henderson, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Richmond.
Dr. Maddry gave a report of the work of the Board. He stated that
it had been necessary to send approximately §22,000.00 to the State De¬
partment for the transfer of repatriated missionaries from foreign countries.
He also stated that a majority of the Board members had expressed their
intention of attending the meeting of the Board at Ridgecrest, August 12
during Foreign Mission Week and that indications point to a large atten¬
dance for the week.
The Treasurer's report was presented as follows and upon motion was
received and filed:
