thing of the encouraging reactions. Representatives of the Board will
attend a meeting in Nashville on September 21 and 22 with the Promotional

Dr. Means and I have been traveling and conferring incessantly since
June 22 in Old Mexico, hoping to return by July 13. This report will
include a brief survey of conditions. A more complete report will
follow on my return.
El Paso, Texas: With increased support the Publishing House for all
Spanish America is doing an outstanding piece of work. The increased
staff will also add to its effectiveness. Missionary A. C, Muller
will probably become Book Editor in the near future. This will
necessitate another field worker to succeed him.
Chihuahua : 227 miles south of El Paso in the north desert is the home
of the A. P. Piersons, in charge of three states (total area about the
size of Texas). The local church is in need of a new building. An
additional $15,000 will complete the project. An aggressive new pastor
will soon arrive. The Piersons also conduct a Student Home with ten
young people taking courses in the local schools. We visited some of
the 'Missions" of the church in nearby lead and gold mine communities.
The new car given by Woman's Missionary Union is rendering outstanding
service.
