Foreign Mission Board Booms
July 8, 1943
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session on Thursday,
July 8, 1943 at 4:00 P.M. with President Jenkins presiding.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. Cousins.
The minutes of the June meeting ware approved as read.
Dr» Sadler reported that four missionaries had sailed for Africa and
others would soon be on the way. He also reported that plans were made for
an unusually fine conference at Ridgecrest and he expressed the hope that
the Board members would be wel 1 represented.
Dr. Gill gave a brief report on his trip to Mexico, Central America and
Colombia.
Dr. Rankin reported that our missionaries in China are achieving tremen¬
dous results and he stressed the importance of re-enforcing the eighteen
missionaries in Free China.
Mr. Jenkins welcomed Dr. J. Marshall, Personnel Secretary of the Board.
On motion of Mr. Gwathmey it 'was voted to receive and file the report of
the treasurer:
