The regular monthly meeting of the Board was held on Monday July 7th at 5 oclock P.M.

Prayer by Bro. Bitting. Minutes were read and approved.
The Treasurer presented a report as follows:-

The Cor. Sec. presented a letter from Bro. R. L. Thurman Agent in Kentucky, which was referred to the Com'tee on Agencies.
On motion, the Cor. Sec. and Bro. Evans were appointed a Committee to have executed a proper deed of conveyance of the Land in Mo. to Mrs. Modisett in accordance with the instructions of the Convention.
Letters from Brn. Yates and Crawford were referred to the Com'tee on China Missions.
Accounts of Dr. Cote and Dr. Jeter were referred to the Com'tee on European Missions, also letters of resignation from Dr. Cote and several of the native Evangelists in Italy.
The Com'tee on African Missions presented a report, which was adopted as follows:-
The Com'tee have delayed their report on the policy to be pursued in our African Missions, until the action of the S. B. Convention on the subject should be made known.
The Convention declaring that the Missions "call for prompt support, by prayer, by men and by money," and there being indications at present that both men and money may be secured for this Mission, the Committee recommend the adoption of the following.
