Foreign Mission Board Rooms,
July 14th, 1938.
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session on July L.th
at 4:00 P. M. in the Board Rooms with President Jenkins presiding.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother Williams.
The following were present: Brethren Gwathmey, Jenkins, Harris, Montague,
Loving, Bryant, Alley, Mrs. Atkinson, Mrs. Wicker, and Mrs. Moore j also
Executive Assistant, Miss Ford, and Dr. J. 0. Williams from the Sunday
School Board in Nashville.
Miss Ford reported several items of interest to the Board.
Miss Ford read a letter from Dr. Adams explaining his absence and re¬
questing that the matter of arranging for the securing of funds for the
expenses of Mrs. Maddry's trip to Madras be taken up. It was voted to ask
Miss Alta Foster to take charge of this matter.
The treasurer being absent, Miss Ford read his report. It was adopted
as follows:
