The Foreign Mission Board met in monthly session at 4:00 P. II. on Thursday,
July 11, 1946 with Mr. Jenkins presiding.
Present: L. H. Jenkins, E. P. Buxton, Clyde V. Hickerson, T. Rupert Coleman,

Dr. Hickerson led in prayer.
The minutes of the June meeting were approved as read.
Dr. Sadler told of a letter from Dr. Duke K. McCall stating that with one exception
the state secretaries are very optimistic about the campaign for relief and rehabili¬
tation.
Dr. Sadler reported the arrival of Dr. Rankin and Dr. Cauthen in Shanghai and
read a cablegram telling of the need for relief and rehabilitation.
Dr. Marshall gave a report of meetings for young people attended during the
summer .
Dr. Routh reported on a meeting of rural preachers which he attended in Oklahoma
and paid tribute to the fine publicity work which Miss Moore is doing for relief
and rehabilitation.
Dr. Marshall reminded the Board members of Foreign Mission Week to be held at
Ridgecrest August 15-21.
On motion of Mr. owathmey it was voted to receive and file the report of the
treasurer:
