Foreign Mission Board Rooms
July 11, 1940
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session on
Thursday, July 11, with President Jenkins in the ohair.
The following were present: Brethren Jenkins, Adams, Bryant,
Harris, Coleman, and Mrs. Atkinson and Mrs. Moore; also Executive Sec¬
retary, Dr. Maddry, Secretary for Africa, Europe and hear East, Dr.
George 1ST. Sadler, Treasurer, E. P. Buxton, Miss Coleman, Kiss V.eeks,
and Mrs. Charles E. Maddry.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. Theodore F. Adams.
The minutes of the June meeting of the Board were approved
as read.
Dr. Maddry reported the death of Mrs. C. F. Stapp, missionary
to Brazil, and that Miss Maye Bell Taylor had been authorized to return
to the States for a very serious operation.
