Foreign Mission Board Rooms
January 8, 1942
The Foreign Mission Board met in regular monthly session at 4:00 P.
on Thursday, January 0, 1942, with President Jonkins in the chair.
There were present Brethren Jenkins, Coleman, Loving, Montague, Adams,
R. Aubrey 'Vi Ilians, Soever, Prickett, Bryant, Sadler, Buxton, Gill and Mrs.
Moore.
The meeting ms opened with prayer by Dr. Gill.
The minutes of the meeting of December 11 were approved as read. The
minutes of the called meeting of December 22 -were approved without reading
as all the recommendations had been read in the meeting of December 22.
President Jenkins welcomed Dr. Everett Gill, Jr., Secretary for Latin
America.
Or. Sadler reported on his recent trip to the State department and to
Lev; York where he conferred with leaders of other Boards. he stated that
there is no difficulty in getting funds to Free China, but that no channels
are opened as yet to occupied China.
Dr. Sadler reported that Rev. and -rs. John Allen Moore and Hiss Ruby
' ol would be able to leave Budapest v.-f th the American Legation and would
go to Lisbon.
On motion of Brother Bryant it ms voted to receive ; nd file the follow-
ing report of the treasurer:
