The Board met in regular session at 4 P. M.
the President in the chair.
The meeting was opened with prayer by Bro. Bryant.
The following were present: Jenkins, Gaines, Mrs.
Thomas, Mrs. Moore, Cousins, Matthews, Williams, Coleman,
Dr. Loving, Bryant, Slaughter, Gwathmey, Montague and
Harris.
Also Treasurer Buxton and Office Secretary Miss
Jessie Ford.
The minutes of Dec. 14th were read and approved.
On account of the sickness of Dr. Maddry, Miss
Jessie Ford reported on several items for our information.
The President called attention to the death of
Dr. T. B. Ray, Secretary Emeritus, and made appropriate
remarks with regard to the loss our Board has sustained.
