•r The Administrative Committee made a
—verbal report and in addition made the following recom¬
mendations;
1. The -Administrative Committee having
heard the Proposition submitted by Brother Throgmorton
of Illinois, for the employment of a man to engage in
enlistment work among the Baptists of that state, who are
identified with the Southern Baptist Convention, who
shall canvass them in the interest of the Foreign Board
and the Home Board of the Southern Baptist Convention,
and State Missions for Illinois, with the understanding
that whatever is raised by Illinois Bantists is to be di¬
vided equally among the three Boards, and that the salary
and expenses of the enlistment man are to be also equally
divided among the Boards, recommend that this proposition
be accepted for one year.
