President Ellyson stated the object of the
meeting, and the following resolution was passed:
Whereas, the Foreign Mission Board of the
Southern Baptist Convention is jointly interested with
the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Conven¬
tion in the Real Estate devised to them by Anna Schimp,
deceased, as hereinafter described and have received a
satisfactory offer of sale for the said property (subject
to a broker's commission of 2%?o) from J. Irving Bealmer:
How, therefore, be it resolved that the
Board accepts the said offer as to its interest in said
real estate, and doth authorize William Ellyson, its
President, to make to said J. Irving Bealmer upon the
payment of said purchase money, a good and sufficient
deed with Special Warranty, to all of its undivided interest
in the lots of land lying and being in the City of Balti¬
more and described as follows:
"Beginning for the first thereof on the
north side of School Street, formerly Windsor Mill Road,
at the distance of ninety-four feet, more or less, eas¬
terly from the northeast corner of Strieker Street and
School Street; and running thence easterly binding on
the north side of said School Street twelve feet; thence
northerly at right angles with said School Street fifty-
five feet to the south side of an alley ten feet wide;
thence westerly binding on the south side of said alley,
with the use thereof in common, twelve feet; thence
southerly, by a straight line, fifty-fivo feet to the
place of beginning.
Beginning for the second thereof on the
north side of School Street, formerly ’Windsor Mill Road,
at the distance of one hundred and six feet, more or
less, easterly from the northeast . corner of Strieker
and School Streets; and running thence easterly binding
on the north side of said School Street twelve feet;
thence northerly at right angles with said School Street
fifty-five feet to the south side of an alloy ton feet
wide’; thence westerly binding on the south side of said
alley, with the use thereof in common, twelve feet;
thence southerly by a straight lino fifty-fivo feet to the
place of beginning.
Beginning for the third thereof on the
north side of School Street, formerly Windsor Mill Rond,
at the distance of one hundred and eighteen feet, more
or less, easterly from the northeast corner of Strieker
and School Streets; and running thence easterly binding on
the north side of said School Street twelve feet; thence
northerly at right angles with said School Street fifty-
five feet to the south side of an alley ten feet wide;
thence westerly binding on the south side of said alley,
with the use thereof in common, twelve feet; thence
southerly by a straight line fifty-five feet to the
place of beginning.
Beginning for the fourth thereof on the
north side of School Street, formerly Windsor Mill Road,
at the distance of one hundred and thirty feet, more or
less, easterly from the northeast corner of Strieker
Street and School Street; and running thence easterly
binding on the north side of said School Street twelve
feet; thence northerly at right angles with said School
