Convention felt that a certain amount of promotional work was needed. An his¬
torical motion picture of the Convention will be produced and instead of a ono
reel supplementary picture for the boards it has been suggested that two reel
pictures be produced at a cost of $8,000 instead of $3,000 as originally sug¬
gested and as recommended by the Administrative Committee in its report.
Dr. Sadler reported that Miss May Perry and Miss Willie Kate Baldwin were
on their way to Africa and Dr. Dewey Moore to Italy. He reported receipt of a
letter from Peter Belioov of Rumania bringing the good news that Baptists have
been recognised as a cult in Rumania.
Dr. Sadler presented Rev. I. N. Patterson who spoke of his work in Nigeria
and made an appeal for now missionaries for Africa and stressed the importance
of sending missionaries of the highest type.

being set up for the work of the Orient — two from each mission in China and one
from Japan. This committee probably ’will meet in the spring.
