Minutes of the February 5, 1900 Foreign Mission Board Meeting

Monday, Feby 5, 1900, 4 1/2 P.M. Regular meeting of B'rd held at this hour. Present brn Winston, Willingham, Williams, Bomar, Jones, Jno. Pollard, Foster, Mathews, Ellyson, Cooper, Thomas, Ryland, Mercer, and bro. E. Z. Simmons, one of our missionaries in Canton. Prayer by bro. Simmons. Pres. on behalf of the Brd welcomed bro. Simmons & invited him to sit with the Brd, & also welcomed bro. Bomar as the new Asst. Cor. Secy. Both brn replied briefly. Pres. called attention to the fact that bro. Barton's child was yet ill, & Brd engaged in prayer, led by bro. Bomar, for bro. Barton & family. Minutes of last meeting read & approved.
