Report — ters. (1) In regard to the estate of J. C. Eason the
following resolution was passed?
TO THE EXECUTORS:
Whereas J. C. Eason, deceased, in the
ninth item of his will bequeathed among other things
"the

of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars for the use
of Baptist foreign missions", and whereas the Foreign
Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention at Rich¬
mond, Virginia, is the_ proper agency through which Bap¬
tist foreign mission work is oarried on in the South;
Therefore, be it respolved that we re¬
quest the executors of the will of J. C. Eason, deceased,
to pay over the said sum of one thousand (1,000.00) dol¬
lars to our Board to be used for Baptist foreign missions.
(2)0n motion it was voted that the State Secre¬
taries ' Conference be invited to meet in Richmond as the
guests of this Board at their next regular annual meeting.
On motion of Brother Ellyson the giftfrom
the Sunday School Board at IJashville was accepted and it
was requested that the Corresponding Secretary be in¬
structed to communicate to Dr. Frost the appreciation of
our Board.
