Foreign Mission Board Rooms

, The Foreign Mission Board met in monthly session at 4:00 P. M. on
Thursday, December 10, 1942, with President Jenkins in the chair.
The meeting was opened by prayer by Dr. Coleman.
There were present L. Howard Jenkins, J. G. Loving, P.. Aubrey
Williams, Mrs. ^imeon Atkinson, C. S. Prickett, T, F. Adams, Mrs.
T. Justin Moore,

E. Maddry and E. P. Buxton.
The minutes of the November meeting were approved as read.
Dr. Maddry reported that the regional secretaries and Miss Moore
were attending the meeting of the Foreign Missions Conference in Cleve¬
land. He also reported that the debt of the Board was down to §43,000.
On motion of Dr. Adams it was voted to approve the action of the
secretary in applying to the payment of the debt $5,000 received from
the estate of Mrs. G. C. Harris of Columbia, South Carolina, and to
authorize the treasurer to apply to the debt $6,000 from this estate
which is due to come in the near future.
On motion of Dr. Prickett it was voted to receive and file the
report of the treasurer:
