Minutes of the August 5, 1901 Foreign Mission Board Meeting

Monday Aug 5th. 1901. 4:30 P.M. The Board met in regular monthly meeting this afternoon. The following brethren were present. Brethren Winston, Willingham, Williams, Pollard H. R. Pollard John, Pitt, Baldy, Bomar, Foster Hatcher, Mercer. Brethren R. E. Chambers of China and Dr W. P. Mathews of Manchester were also present and invited to sit with us. Prayer by Brother Chambers. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. As Dr Mathews, taking his father's place, was present to report on the physical condition of three applicants for appointment & as he desired to leave soon, the board at once listened to his report.
