The Foreign Mission Board met in celled session on August 12, 1942
at Ridgecrest, North Carolina with President Jenkins in the chair.

Dr. Maddry gave a brief report of the financial standing of the
Board.
On recommendation of Dr. Maddry it was voted that Miss Marjorie Moore
be elected Managing Editor of The Commission at a salary of 31800.00 per
year and that she take up her duties with the Foreign Mission Board as
soon as possible.
On motion of Mr. Montague it was voted that Miss Nan F. Weeks be
made Book Editor, her salary to remain as it is.
It was voted to approve the placing of 38,010, representing the value
of Lig -etti'.'yers Company stock released by the death of Mr. 'V. A. Osborne
on the E. L. Brown note.
On motion of Dr. Loving it was voted to approve the payment of 311,922.25
on the D. Lester note and the execution of an annuity contract of 326,172.31
