The Board passed a vote of thanks to
Brother 0. F. Gregory, Secretary of Southern Baptist
Convention, for pictures of Dr. Willingham and Dr.
В.
H. Carroll, and the Corresponding Secretary was
asked to so inform him.
The report of the Committee on China was
read by Brother Johnson and adopted as follows:
We recommend:
1. That $300 (gold) be appropriated for
the building of a wall, enclosing the Yingtak Hospital
property. The damage caused by recent floods and the
fact that this property is isolated from the other Com¬
pound makes it necessary to build this wall.
2. That the large residence in the cen¬
ter of the Yingtak property be devoted to the Girls1
School, with the understanding that it is the plan to
turn the present Girls’ School property (with improve¬
ments) over to the Woman’s School, using part of the
the Woman’s School Fund as provided in the Judson Cen¬
tennial Fund, to erect a suitable missionary residence
when the money is available, the total amount to be
expended on the missionary’s residence and the imprgve-
ment of the present Girls' School property for the use
