f • the Com. on China was
read by Brother Johnson and adopted as follows;
We recommend ;
1. That $200 be granted to Dr. C. A. Hayes
for the purchase of much needed surgical instruments.
2. That we approve the request of the
South China Mission that DP. and Mrs. C. A. Hayes be
located at Tungshan, Canton.
3. That Dr. Hayes be designated for the
medical care of the missionaries and the schools of Can¬
ton.
4. That the Board declines to make the
