The report of the Committee on China was
read by Dr. Ray and adopted as follows:
WE RECOMMEND:
1. That $900 (gold) be added to the appropria¬
tion of $1,600 already made for the purchase of a launch
for the Yangchow Station.
2. That the Board agree to pay the traveling
expenses of Robert Pruitt to China, in case the North
China Mission should desire to employ him as teacher.
3. That $5,000 be appropriated for the Trice Me¬
morial Gate Chapel, Eaifeng, this amount having been given
for this purpose by Mr. Jno.B. and Miss Anna Trice, of
Hopkinsville, Ky.
